Motorola launched the 4th generation Moto G phones, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus today in New Delhi. Both Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus come with 5.5 Inch Full HD 1080p display. The processor is 1.5 GHz octa-core  Qualcomm Snapdragon 617. The front camera is 5 MP. Battery backup is 3000 MAh with TurboPower. Turbo Charging promises six hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging. The difference lies in Fingerprint sensor and rear camera. Moto G4 comes with 13 MP rear camera and no fingerprint sensor while Moto G4 Plus comes with 16 MP rear camera and fingerprint sensor.

Unlike previous 3 Moto G phones, this time Motorola has chosen Amazon for launching its new phone, Moto G 4th generation. In short, it's another addition to the list of Amazon Exclusive phones. It is expected that there are going to be 2 models: Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus.

If you have been to this blog before,then you must have seen the post about my purchase of Moto G 16 GB from Flipkart . I bought it on 8th February,that is,2 days after the exclusive launch of Moto G on Flipkart.         So I was unable to get the offer of 70% off  on official Moto G covers and shells and I was unable to convince myself for shelling out money Rs 1599 for those flip shells after reading their reviews like flip cover's magnet creating problems with Google Maps etc.Black back cover is best for mr so back cover was not an good option for Rs 899.Grip shell worth Rs 1099 were the last choices.

I also waited for Moto G launch but it went out of stock on the first day itself. At midnight and in the noon of 6th February, both the timings were not suitable for me due to my exam on 6th February. In the midnight,I couldn't wake up till 12 am due to parents not allowing and at 12 pm in the day, I was in college so I had to wait till both versions came in stock. At 7th February,  Moto G 8 GB came in stock but 16 GB didn't so I booked Moto G 8 GB. I researched on internet will 8 GB be enough for my needs. But then I thought that it's better to be future safe and then cancelled the order and booked the Moto G 16 GB on 8th February.
