Google has launched the Google Pay app based on UPI to compete with apps like PhonePe. It can be used to pay for movie tickets, utility bills, and make other transactions online.

It let users link up their phones to their bank accounts to pay for goods securely in physical stores and online, and for person-to-person money transfers. It is available on Android and iOS, and is powered by UPI, a payments protocol built by government-backed organisation NPCI.

It supports various local languages including Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. One interesting feature of Google Google Pay is “Cash mode” option, which transmits “audio” using Google’s QR technology to identify the person nearby you, and lets you pay or receive money when you’re able to find that user.

Steps to Get Rs. 21 on Sign Up on Google Pay App:

1. Download the Google Pay app here.

2. Choose a language to get started.

3. Enter your phone number which should be present on the phone and also registered with your bank account.

4. Choose an account to link with Google Pay account which would become your UPI ID on Google Pay.

5. Then OTP will be verified automatically.

6. Then choose screen lock or Google PIN. I chose the existing screen lock.

7. Click on Rupee symbol.

8. Then add bank account liked with your mobile number as it will be linked using UPI.

9. SMS will be sent from your mobile number to find bank account.

10. Then create a UPI pin. If you already have a UPI pin, enter it to link the account with Google Pay.

11. Now send Rs. 1 to any Google Pay registered number or UPI address. You can send to me at [email protected] if you don’t know a Google Pay user.

12. You will get Rs. 21 directly to your bank account within 3 days.

Steps to Get Rs. 21 Per Referral on Google Pay App:

1. Go to Offers icon.

2. Click on ‘See Offer Details’.

3. Click on Invite friends and share your code to friends using Whatsapp, Facebook, etc.

4. If your friend registers on Google Pay through your referral link and successfully completes a payment using Google Pay app, your friend and you both will get Rs. 21 directly in your bank account.

How to Earn More Through Google Pay Scratch Cards Offer:

1. You must successfully send at least Rs. 50 to another Google Pay user or receive at least Rs. 50 from another Google Pay user.

2. Payments sent to a non-Google Pay UPI ID do not qualify for this offer.

3. Each sender-recipient pair can only earn one reward each per week.

4. For each reward you earn, you are eligible to win up to Indian Rupees One Thousand (INR 1,000).

5. You can earn a maximum of 10 Google Pay rewards per week, up to a total of Rs. 9,000 per financial year (1 April to 31 March), across all Google Pay offers.

6. If you win a prize, your prize money will be deposited into your bank account. As such, you must have a UPI-enabled saving account attached to your Google Pay account to receive payment from Google.

How to Earn More Through Google Pay Lucky Sundays Offer:

1. You must successfully send at least Rs. 50 to another Google Pay user.

2. Payments sent to a non-Google Pay UPI ID do not qualify for this offer.

3. Each sender can only earn one reward each per week.

4. For each reward that you earn, you are eligible to win Rs. 100,000.

5. If you win a prize, your prize money will be deposited into your bank account. As such, you must have a UPI-enabled saving account attached to your Google Pay account to receive payment from Google.
