In this post, I am going to review 1More Piston Fit In-Ear Headphones.
1More is a consumer electronics audio company headquartered in San Diego, California. Their mission is to deliver superior quality headphones at surprisingly affordable prices, disrupting an industry where price hiking and design shortcuts are the norm.
They use the latest patented designs and materials to enhance the sound, comfort, and aesthetic appeal. They have created earphones for Xiaomi too.
In-Box Contents and Price
The box contains a pair of Piston Fit in-ear headphones, 3 pairs of (differently sized) ear-tips, user manual and warranty booklet. The price of the in-earphones is set at Rs. 999.
Design and Features
In order to give the cold aluminum smooth distinctive personality, 1More has applied precision metal crafting, to allow simple lines sketched out of trumpet-shaped sound chamber appearance. It has a lightweight and compact design.
For more fitting experience, the front acoustic tube adopts a 45° degree in-ear design. The headphone cable is wrapped by Kevlar fibre, which is a form of body armor material.
External part of cable is wrapped up with skin-friendly TPE material, effectively reduce the friction caused by the wire and clothing friction sound, which makes listening enjoyable. It is available in 4 colours- Deep Space Grey, Clear Lake Blue, Galaxy Silver and Rose Pink.
It comes with in-line microphone and a remote control which can used to receive call, cut call, play and pause audio or videos. A long-press will bring up your device’s voice assistant: Google Assistant on Android and Siri on iOS.
There are no volume control buttons though. 1More also has a burn-in app for both Android and IOS.
The app allows the headphone to reach a matured level more quickly. The intelligent burn-in starts with one button when the headphone is connected. User can select burn-in audio, volume and duration according to personal needs.
The Piston Fit is extremely comfortable to wear. The quality of audio is pretty good.
The bass, mids and highs, work in perfect harmony. The Low note which generally is soothing to the ear is somewhat compromised when you increase the volume to the max (or close to max).
It is a value for money product at the price though.
